Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Longfellow Deeds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Zyekowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deeds kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Evils Deeds. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Longfellow Deeds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thomas Zyekowski! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zyekowski misses with a telegraphed body shot
letting Deeds counter with a right hand. Zyekowski misses with a left hand letting Deeds counter with a right hand. Zyekowski throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Deeds sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Deeds looks to land a combination. Zyekowski sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Deeds tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zyekowski was well out of range. Poor timing from Deeds. Zyekowski tests Deeds's chin there with a solid looking shot. Thomas Zyekowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zyekowski turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Zyekowski throws a right hand that misses
and Deeds counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Deeds misses with a body shot.
Zyekowski slaps away a takedown attempt from Deeds, before circling back to the center of the mat. Deeds shoots in looking for a takedown but Zyekowski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Deeds's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Deeds closes the distance and clinches up with Zyekowski, looking for a takedown. Deeds pushes Zyekowski against the cage but Zyekowski circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Longfellow Deeds. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zyekowski misses with a wild combination.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Deeds thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Longfellow Deeds dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Deeds drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Zyekowski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Deeds has Zyekowski in his guard. Deeds is trying to keep Zyekowski in close.

That was a close second round but I would say that Longfellow Deeds will probably get the nod. That's time! Deeds's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

No luck so far. Deeds is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Deeds utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Zyekowski wants to pass the guard but Deeds is keeping the position. Zyekowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Deeds has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zyekowski has managed to get both his arms back between Deeds's legs - danger averted. Longfellow Deeds is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Zyekowski's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Deeds is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zyekowski defends well.
And that's the end of the fight! Longfellow Deeds showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Deeds, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
