Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hammer Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Velasqz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mack comes into the arena with Elephant Man - Haters (feat Hunt & Jim Jones) blaring out of the sound system. Velasqz has chosen The Champ is Here as his entrance music. Hammer Mack had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Cain Velasqz enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Velasqz gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mack to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Velasqz has a closed guard, preventing Mack from standing up.
Velasqz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Mack!

Velasqz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Mack kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Mack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mack tries to get out of the position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mack might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Velasqz's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mack is squirming around, avoiding Velasqz's attempts to control the action.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Cain Velasqz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Mack falls off balance throwing a combination

and Velasqz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Mack is breathing heavily.
Good exchange - Velasqz coming out on top.
Velasqz drops Mack with a beautiful combination! Mack stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Velasqz is looking for the KO!

Velasqz has managed to clinch.
Oh Mack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Mack is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Velasqz is defending well for now.
Velasqz lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Mack or not.

Cain Velasqz dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Velasqz cracks Mack with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Mack falls to his knees and Velasqz doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cain Velasqz!
