Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osana Bin Laden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexis Mandapat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexis Mandapat is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Osana Bin Laden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexis Mandapat! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bin Laden stuffs the takedown attempt from Mandapat. Mandapat gets slowly back to his feet. Mandapat misses with a takedown attempt - Bin Laden sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Bin Laden closes the distance and clinches up with Mandapat, looking for a takedown. Bin Laden pushes Mandapat against the cage but Mandapat circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Mandapat wants to clinch but Bin Laden slips to the side and Bin Laden moves into the clinch. Bin Laden is pushing Mandapat up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Bin Laden escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mandapat stuffs the takedown attempt from Bin Laden. Bin Laden gets slowly back to his feet. Bin Laden rushes Mandapat and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mandapat fails to pull guard.
Osana Bin Laden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexis Mandapat. Mandapat fails to pull guard.
Mandapat is pressed up against the cage. Bin Laden has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Mandapat down to the mat. Mandapat avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Mandapat slaps away a takedown attempt from Bin Laden, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bin Laden shoots in for a takedown but Mandapat shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bin Laden shoots in looking for a takedown. Mandapat tries to sprawl out of it but Bin Laden keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mandapat manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bin Laden shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Mandapat counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bin Laden's guard now. Bin Laden is breathing heavily. Bin Laden being controlled here, momentarily. Mandapat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bin Laden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bin Laden has Mandapat pulled in close to control his posture.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Mandapat shoots for a double leg takedown but Bin Laden sprawls well. He's pushed Mandapat's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mandapat stuffs the takedown attempt from Bin Laden. Bin Laden gets slowly back to his feet. Bin Laden fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mandapat shoots in looking for a takedown but Bin Laden manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mandapat's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mandapat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bin Laden but Bin Laden pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mandapat shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mandapat misses with a takedown attempt and Bin Laden counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bin Laden. Bin Laden has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mandapat regains guard immediately. Bin Laden postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mandapat working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bin Laden. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bin Laden trying to control the position from guard on top but Mandapat is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bin Laden missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bin Laden stands up and waves to Mandapat to follow him. Mandapat blocks a leg kick. Bin Laden fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mandapat avoids it really well and circles away. Mandapat fails to land the takedown. Mandapat tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bin Laden paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mandapat misses with a takedown and Bin Laden counters by clinching up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Osana Bin Laden will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mandapat with a lazy takedown attempt and Bin Laden counters with a big head kick but Mandapat shrugs it off. A momentary lapse in concentration from Mandapat enables Bin Laden to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mandapat manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Mandapat looking for a guillotine here but Bin Laden defends easily.
Bin Laden throws a big right hand that misses. Mandapat keeping moving, preventing Bin Laden from controlling successfully. Mandapat is breathing heavily. Bin Laden throwing strikes from guard but Mandapat blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bin Laden connects with a couple of short punches. Bin Laden trying to control but Mandapat is working from the bottom. Mandapat throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bin Laden's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bin Laden postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bin Laden throwing strikes from guard but Mandapat blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bin Laden makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Bin Laden working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bin Laden looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Bin Laden distracts Mandapat with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bin Laden throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mandapat works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bin Laden is working Mandapat over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bin Laden tries to hold on but Mandapat pushes him away. Mandapat can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bin Laden is looking to escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bin Laden pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bin Laden shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mandapat pinned against the cage. Mandapat gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Mandapat looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bin Laden is fending him off so far but Mandapat persists. Nope, Bin Laden circles away and we're back to standing. The fight moves into the clinch position.

Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mandapat's head. Bin Laden is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Bin Laden is looking to take a break and control but Mandapat is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Osana Bin Laden. Well Bin Laden has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
