Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dondi Daga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bwakanang Disi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dondi Daga has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dondi Daga!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bwakanang Disi!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disi wants to clinch but Daga slips to the side
and Daga cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


It looks like Bwakanang Disi has been cut.

Daga darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Daga prevents Disi from improving his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Disi is trying to control but can't.
Daga landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Daga seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Daga is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Disi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Daga.
Disi is trying to get back to full guard.

Daga is looking to advance position but Disi won't allow it.
Daga passes the guard and advances to mount!

Daga is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Disi to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Disi shrugs it off.
Daga will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Daga is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Disi has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Daga tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Daga is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Disi can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Daga looking to ground and pound but Disi is blocking nicely.
Disi is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Disi is wriggling around trying to escape.

Disi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Daga trying to control but Disi is having none of it.
Daga throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Disi because Daga loaded up on that one.
Disi keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daga controlling the position easily from mount.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Disi looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dondi Daga dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Bwakanang Disi's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Daga swings widly with a right hand

and Disi counters by clinching up.
Disi goes for a takedown in the clinch but Daga prevents it.
Disi fails to pull guard.
Disi letting Daga take a breather here.
Disi is looking to break free of the clinch but Daga has double underhooks.
Disi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Daga just stands there and leans against the cage.
Dondi Daga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bwakanang Disi.
Daga keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Disi's efforts to push away.
Daga content to slow the pace in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Disi is fighting off a takedown attempt but Daga is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Disi to the mat. Disi regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Disi wants to get back to his feet but Daga is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Disi lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Daga!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Daga is looking to improve his position but Disi isn't that keen on the idea.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Daga is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Disi throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Daga can't escape the position.
Daga is working hard here to advance position.
Daga is squirming around, avoiding Disi's attempts to control the action.
Disi looking to ground and pound but Daga is blocking nicely.

Disi has hold of Daga's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Daga manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Daga wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Disi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daga. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Disi throwing wild punches that miss their target.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Disi is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Daga defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Daga looking very determined here, making life difficult for Disi.
Daga looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Disi keeps control of the position as Daga tries to break free.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Bwakanang Disi will probably get the nod - 10:9.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Disi fails with the takedown.

Disi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Disi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Disi takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Disi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Daga has worked his arm free - good work by Daga!
Disi tries to move to mount but Daga blocks the move with his legs.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Daga is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Daga on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Daga tries to get out of the position.

Disi is keen to just control but Daga is a slippery customer.
Daga keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Disi is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Daga is looking to improve his position.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Bwakanang Disi was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Disi lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Disi shoots in and drives through. Daga sprawls well.
Disi fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Dondi Daga is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Disi has a takedown stuffed.
Dondi Daga has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bwakanang Disi.
Disi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Daga pinned against the cage. Daga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Daga slaps away a takedown attempt from Disi, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Daga throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Disi was covering up waiting for the punch and Daga finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Disi wants to stand but Daga is controlling the position.
Disi wants to sweep but no luck.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Daga wants to control from the top but Disi keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dondi Daga wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Disi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Daga is trying to escape the mount.
Disi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Daga is looking to escape.
Disi throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Bwakanang Disi.
I think Disi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
