Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cecil Salace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Marquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cecil Salace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Julio Marquez! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marquez tries to grapple but his opponent circles letting Salace counter with a right hand.
It looks like Julio Marquez has been cut. Salace showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marquez.
Marquez closes the distance but Salace moves to the side and Salace counters with a lovely straight right hand! Marquez wants to clinch but Salace slips to the side and Salace counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Marquez lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Salace looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Marquez is trying to control the position but Salace postures up. Marquez keeping moving, preventing Salace from controlling successfully. Salace drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Salace jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Salace passes into half guard. Salace is working for a kimura but Marquez is defending it quite comfortably.
Salace works his way into side control. Salace wants to control but Marquez is keeping him busy. Marquez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Salace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marquez tries to buck Salace off but Salace is having none of it. Salace has hold of Marquez's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Marquez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Salace cranks the arm and Marquez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Marquez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Cecil Salace!
