Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Renato Barral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eddie Jones will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Renato Barral! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Jones! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones misses with a takedown and Barral counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Barral shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Jones tries to reverse the position but Barral maintains control. Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Barral controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones is just holding on here. Barral manages to take his back.
Jones wants to escape the position.
Jones turns into Barral and is now in his guard.
Barral is pulling down on Jones's head to control his posture. Jones passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to stand and escape but Barral actually recovers to full guard. Jones being controlled here momentarily. Barral wants to sweep but no luck. Jones tries to stand but Barral is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barral is pulling down on Jones's head to control his posture. Jones wanted to stand there but Barral had control of the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Jones throws a head kick that misses. Eddie Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barral shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barral not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Barral has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Jones working for a triangle but Barral defends it easily.
Barral engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renato Barral dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Barral darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Jones wants to improve his position but Barral is controlling well.
Jones wants to control but Barral passes into side.
Jones is looking to get back to his feet here but Barral is keeping cool and he's managed to take Jones's back. Jones is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Barral off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Barral has good solid back control here. Jones tries to escape the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jones wants to get back to his feet. Barral keeps control of the position as Jones tries to break free.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Barral slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Renato Barral dominated that second round. That's time! Barral's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Barral takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Barral thows a body shot but no joy. Jones bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Barral is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jones's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Barral gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones wants to control from the top but Barral keeps moving. Barral looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jones is one step ahead there. Jones wants to get up but he can't break Barral's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jones is looking to advance position but Barral has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Jones looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Jones tries to roll but Barral sticks to his back.
Good control from Barral. Jones controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones tries to break free.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Renato Barral. Well Barral has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
