0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hi Hello! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hendrix looks to clinch and Hello counters with a single leg into guard. Hendrix didn't expect that. Hello is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hello trying to control but Hendrix is working from the bottom. Hendrix uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Hello shoots in for a takedown but Hendrix shows good takedown defense. A punch combination from Hendrix misses. Hendrix tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hello decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hendrix's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hello pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hendrix is keeping the position for now. Hello drops back, looking for a kneebar! Hendrix looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Hendrix looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Hendrix!

Hello might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hendrix kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Hendrix cracks Hello with a big elbow. Hello is trying to control Hendrix's posture but Hendrix avoids it. Hello manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Hello wants to control but Hendrix is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hendrix in particular looking to stall. Hendrix wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hello keeps working. Hello trying to control here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Hi Hello hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Hendrix closes the distance but Hello moves to the side and Hello counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hendrix!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendrix regains half guard. Hendrix might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hello is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Hendrix has managed to free his arm - good work. Hello is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Hello jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hendrix is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hendrix and Hello has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Hello is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hendrix has escaped the position, nice work there. Hello wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hendrix keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hendrix is letting Hello control him for a moment. Hendrix isn't going anywhere. Hello tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Hello looks gassed! Hello working away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hello thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hi Hello dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hello circles away from the clinch attempt and Hello counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hendrix! Hello working for a submission but Hendrix is keeping him at bay. Hello is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hendrix is surviving well by controlling Hello's body position as best he can. Hello tries to control but Hendrix wriggling away. Hello is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hendrix can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Hello is breathing heavily. Hello working for a guillotine from mount but Hendrix is in no mood to give up.

Hello working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Hendrix is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Hello has taken his back.
Hello looking for the RNC. Hello struggling to keep hold of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hello has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Hello is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Hendrix is defending well though. Hello let's go of the attempt for now. Hello tries to keep control of the position but Hendrix is staying busy. Hendrix is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Hello gets his way!
Hendrix manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hello's guard. Nice work there by Hendrix.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hendrix cracks Hello with a solid left hand. Hendrix is stalling in the full guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hello can do anything to dispel that myth. Hendrix makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hendrix tries to stand but Hello is controlling from the bottom. Hello wants to sweep here but Hendrix controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Hello has his hands on Hendrix's head, controlling the position. Hendrix is looking to work some ground and pound but Hello has wrist control. Hendrix trying to control the position from guard on top but Hello is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hello is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hendrix is aware though and is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hi Hello showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Hendrix moves to clinch but Hello breaks away and Hello counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hello. Hello trying to control but Hendrix is working from the bottom. Hello postures up.
Hendrix keeping moving, preventing Hello from controlling successfully. Hello content to stall in guard here. Hello takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Hello stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hendrix swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hello drops back looking for a leg! Hendrix is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hendrix manages to kick Hello off! Hello jumps back into Hendrix's guard. Hello slips nicely into half guard.

Hello controlling the action here. Hello's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Hello trying to pass the guard but Hendrix defending well.
