Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnaud Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McClane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold. Savage has chosen BLUNT- "The Iron Maiden" as his entrance music. John McClane has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, John McClane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Arnaud Savage! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McClane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Savage ducks under a wild hook from McClane. A kick lands to the mid section there for Savage. McClane catches Savage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! The fight stays on the outside here - McClane looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Savage with a poor takedown and McClane counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. McClane takes a swing at Savage's ribcage but misses. McClane throws a poor cross that misses
and Savage counters with a takedown into side control. Savage is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McClane knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Savage wants to control but McClane is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClane wants to control but Savage postures up. McClane is looking for a sweep. Savage has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for McClane! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Savage forces the positional change into back control. McClane looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. McClane is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Savage tightening his grip on McClane, looking for the choke. Savage throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. McClane is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McClane trying to control the action but Savage just sinks the hooks in. McClane tries to break free.
Savage wants to control but McClane is keeping busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arnaud Savage dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Savage throws a head kick that misses. McClane throws a jab but it's blocked by Savage. McClane tries to bum rush Savage with a series of wild strikes but Savage uses good footwork to avoid the assault. John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Savage with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
McClane throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Savage moves away from the strike by McClane. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savage moves away from the strike by McClane. Savage throws a leg kick and McClane counters with a left to the body. McClane misses with a straight left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savage steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McClane. Savage stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from McClane. McClane with a jab. Savage steps to the side to avoid the strikes from McClane. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Savage. McClane throws a sloppy body shot
and Savage counters with a nice double leg into guard. McClane looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Savage trying to control the position from guard on top but McClane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Savage tries to free his leg and advance position but McClane is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McClane keeping moving, preventing Savage from controlling successfully. Savage stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McClane swivels though and keeps the full guard. McClane is trying to control the position from the bottom.
McClane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Savage on the ground.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Savage misses with a takedown attempt and McClane makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Savage throws a half hearted mid kick. Savage bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McClane is looking to regain half guard here but Savage keeps moving and retains side control. McClane avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Savage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arnaud Savage showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Savage moves out of range as McClane strikes. McClane throws a left and a right that both miss
and Savage counters with a takedown into side control. McClane is trying to control Savage's posture but Savage avoids it. Savage is trying to get an arm triangle but McClane is defending well. McClane is looking for a sweep. Savage working away. McClane on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McClane tries to get out of the position. Savage tries to advance to mount but can't. John McClane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's one minute gone in the round. Savage moves into full mount! McClane is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Savage working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. McClane turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Savage off and cradles McClane's limp body as Savage celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Arnaud Savage!
