Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Yurinov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kamiyashi Suzuki! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yurinov fails with an attempt to clinch.
No joy there for Suzuki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Suzuki doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Suzuki lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Boris Yurinov has been cut. Yurinov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Suzuki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Yurinov somewhat. Suzuki swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Kamiyashi Suzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Yurinov. Suzuki connects with the punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Suzuki lands with an uppercut that bounces Yurinov off the cage and back into rage. Suzuki looks to score with a jab to the body but Yurinov is just out of range. Suzuki is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Yurinov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Yurinov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Suzuki.

Yurinov is rocked! Suzuki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Suzuki connects with a body shot that sends Yurinov's belly button to the back. Suzuki misses with a jab, cross combination.

Boris Yurinov's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Suzuki dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Yurinov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Suzuki swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Yurinov. Suzuki fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Suzuki connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Yurinov's hands. Suzuki lands with a good body shot. Suzuki ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Suzuki fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Suzuki jabs Yurinov right on the nose. Yurinov blinks but takes it well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Suzuki drops Yurinov with a beautiful combination! Yurinov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Suzuki is looking for the KO! Oh Yurinov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Suzuki connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Jeez, Boris Yurinov's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Sloppy strikes from Suzuki. Those never looked like landing. Yurinov seems to have got his legs back now. Suzuki connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kamiyashi Suzuki dominated that round. The cut man is working on Boris Yurinov's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Yurinov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Yurinov there as he acknowledges the shot.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Boris Yurinov's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
