Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Avatar Noon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Danny Anderson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noon lands a slapping body shot.
Noon closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Danny Anderson has been cut.
Noon ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Anderson looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Noon misses with a two punch combination.
Avatar Noon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noon misses with a few strikes there.
Noon lands with a hook. Anderson tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Noon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Noon scores with a nice strike.
Noon moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
A jab lands there for Noon.
Noon lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Noon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Anderson's hands.

Noon lands a big shot that drops Anderson! Can he finish him?


Anderson is rocked!
Noon wants to stand but Anderson is controlling his posture from full guard.
Anderson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Anderson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Noon is aware though and is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Noon trying to stand up but can't free himself from Anderson's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Avatar Noon.
Nice sprawl there from Noon as Anderson shoots in.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Noon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Noon tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Noon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Noon shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Anderson eats them both and turns towards Noon to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Noon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Noon connects with a good right hand that stumbles Anderson. Anderson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Noon lands a body shot.

Noon drops Anderson with a right and a left! Noon comes rushing in but Anderson regains his composure and manages to keep Noon in guard.
Anderson is still in real trouble! Can Noon finish him?
Noon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Anderson is proving hard to escape from.
Noon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Anderson is working an open guard so Noon takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Anderson seems to have recovered his senses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Noon misses with a double jab.
Noon's corner calls for a 1-2. Noon obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Noon jabs at Anderson's body.
Avatar Noon is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Noon tests Anderson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Noon getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Noon misses with a two punch combination.
Anderson drops his hands momentarily and Noon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Noon connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Anderson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Noon is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Noon cracks Anderson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
A left lands for Noon.

Nice combo by Noon! Oh, that's hurt him - Anderson falls to the canvas and Noon follows him into side control.


Anderson is rocked!

Noon decides to stand up, so the ref orders Anderson to his feet.
Noon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Noon batters Anderson with a massive right followed by a huge left! Anderson is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Noon lands a final crushing right hand to drop Anderson to the mat with a gruesome thud! Noon is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Avatar Noon!
