Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zolloo Loam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piton Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Piton Gracie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zolloo Loam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Piton Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loam tries to keep at a distance but Gracie has taken the fight into the clinch.
Loam looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Loam can't break the clinch.
Loam decides to pull guard.
Loam could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gracie stands up and waves to Loam to follow him.
Loam keeps the fight on the outside.
Loam falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Loam tries to sprawl but Gracie drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gracie sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Loam to get to his feet.
Loam takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Loam closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gracie stalks Loam and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Loam's face. Loam staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Zolloo Loam has been cut.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Gracie perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Loam keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Gracie is trying to control. Loam wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Loam has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
Gracie controlling the pace.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gracie lands a nice short elbow.

Gracie is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Gracie tries to pass the half guard into mount. Loam knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Gracie trying to control the action but Loam is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Piton Gracie hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Loam tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Gracie counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Loam might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Loam is not content to let Gracie control the position.
Gracie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Loam is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Piton Gracie dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Zolloo Loam's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Gracie tries to clinch there but Loam circles away.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Loam sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
Loam swats away the attempt to clinch by Gracie.
Gracie misses with the combination.
Gracie misses with a takedown
letting Loam counter with a right hand.
Loam scores with a takedown into Gracie's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gracie looking to control.
Loam trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Gracie trying to keep a closed guard but Loam is proving a slippery customer.
Loam is fighting to break Gracie's control of his arms but Gracie is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Gracie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Gracie clinches up with Loam and pushes him back against the cage.
Gracie is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Loam pulls guard effortlessly.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Loam keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Loam is trying to keep Gracie in close.
Loam keeping full guard, as Gracie tries to pass.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Loam throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Loam pulls Gracie in close to prevent any damage.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Loam does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Gracie is just content to waste time from the top position. Loam takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Gracie stands up and waves to Loam to follow him.
Loam swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Gracie counters by clinching up.

Zolloo Loam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piton Gracie.
Loam manages to break the clinch.
Gracie fails with a takedown attempt.
Loam lands with a nice combination. Gracie backs away looking to recover.
Loam throws a lazy uppercut
and Gracie counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Gracie.
Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Loam jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Gracie walks away with a smile on his face. Loam gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Loam misses with a lunging right hand
and Gracie moves into the clinch.
Gracie successfully pulls guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie throws his legs up looking for a submission but Loam uses it to pass to side control.
A control attempt from Gracie but he's now mounted!
Gracie tries to hold on but Loam postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Piton Gracie will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The cut man is working on Zolloo Loam's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Gracie goes for a takedown attempt but Loam pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Loam stuffs the takedown attempt from Gracie. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Zolloo Loam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie checks a leg kick.
Loam swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Loam didn't expect that.
Loam has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Gracie off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Loam closes the distance but Gracie moves to the side
and Gracie moves into the clinch.
Gracie wants a takedown but no success here.
Zolloo Loam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piton Gracie.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Loam jumps guard but Gracie stands there with Loam around his waist. Loam gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Loam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Gracie has his takedown stuffed
and Loam counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Loam is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Loam which made him look bad.
Loam is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Loam looks to land a combination. Gracie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Gracie misses with a double jab.
Loam has managed to clinch.
Gracie looking to slow down the pace here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Loam gets control of Gracie's arms and successfully pulls guard. Loam will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Loam dives on top into guard.
Loam wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.
Zolloo Loam has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Loam would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Nice straight punches there by Loam. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Loam.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Loam shows good takedown defense.
Loam is looking to clinch but Gracie is avoiding it.

Loam wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Loam takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Loam sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Loam as he jumps to the side.

Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Loam sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Loam looks to score with a jab to the body but Gracie is just out of range.

and Gracie counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Zolloo Loam is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Gracie tries to clinch but Loam is having none of it.
Gracie shoots in but no luck this time.
Loam closes the distance looking to clinch
and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Loam's guard now.
Loam preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Piton Gracie is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Loam is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Piton Gracie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Gracie winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
