The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mortimer throws a wild body kick that Jackson sees coming a mile off.
Mortimer will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Mortimer fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mortimer thuds his right hand into Jackson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Marvin Jackson has been cut.
Mortimer lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Jackson moves out of range of the body kick from Mortimer.
Mortimer throws a sloppy head kick and Jackson moves out of range easily.
Jackson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mortimer.

Mortimer scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackson doesn't seem bothered though.

Jackson steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mortimer. That one must have hurt.
Jackson takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Mortimer tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Jackson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Mortimer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mortimer feints and then cracks Jackson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jackson down.
Jackson takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jackson takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mortimer swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jackson.
Mortimer scoring well with a low kick there.
Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mortimer looks to throw the jab but Jackson is out of range.
Mortimer is looking to score with low kicks.

Jackson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Mortimer wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.

Mortimer lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jackson takes a step back to recover.

Mortimer lands a big head kick that sends Jackson tumbling to the mat! Mortimer takes a step backwards and waves Jackson back to his feet - he wants the finish!
and Mortimer counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Jackson! He's just covering up as Mortimer starts to tee off till referee steps in and stops the fight!
