Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Baldwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Stuart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brandon Baldwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matt Stuart!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuart darts in trying to clinch
and Baldwin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Stuart lands with a thumping leg kick.
Baldwin drives through with a takedown into guard.
Baldwin distracts Stuart with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Baldwin wants to control from the top but Stuart keeps moving.
Stuart not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baldwin trying to control the position from guard on top but Stuart is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baldwin tries to free his leg and advance position but Stuart is retaining full guard.
Baldwin gets to his feet. Stuart looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Baldwin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Stuart wanted to stand there but Baldwin had control of the position.

Baldwin wants to sweep but no luck.
Baldwin wants to stand and escape but Stuart is having none of it.
Baldwin wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stuart manages to pass to side control.
Baldwin is breathing heavily.
Stuart tries to stand but can't do so whilst Baldwin controls his leg.
Stuart seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baldwin does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Stuart is stalling here. Baldwin is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Stuart seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Baldwin has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Stuart is looking to regain half guard here but Baldwin keeps moving and retains side control.
Baldwin decides to stand back up.
Stuart tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Baldwin counters by clinching up.
Baldwin has had enough of the clinch but Stuart keeps him there for the moment.
Baldwin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Stuart walks away with a smile on his face. Baldwin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Baldwin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Baldwin tries to lock up and control but Stuart gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Stuart wants to stand but Baldwin is holding on to him, trying to stop him posturing up.
Baldwin keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Stuart is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Stuart moves in looking to clinch but Baldwin pushes him off.
Stuart uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Baldwin.
Baldwin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Stuart connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Baldwin scrambles back to his feet.

Matt Stuart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Stuart throws a knee to the head but misses.
Baldwin fails to pull guard.
Baldwin has clasped his hands together around Stuart's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
You can see the frustration on Stuart's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Baldwin decides to stand back up. Baldwin steps back and let's Stuart get back to his feet.

and Baldwin counters by moving into the clinch.
Stuart tries to pull guard but Baldwin won't allow it.

Baldwin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Stuart fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Baldwin. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Baldwin shoots in for a double leg but Stuart sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
