Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaddie Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zolloo Loam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jaddie Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zolloo Loam!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain is looking to clinch.
Loam misses with a left hand
and Pain counters with a series of strikes. Loam will be more careful next time no doubt.
Loam throws a head kick that misses

and Pain counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Loam!
Loam tries to hold on but Pain postures up.
Loam is trying to stand.
Pain lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Loam hang on?

Pain with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pain throwing strikes here but Loam is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Pain is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Loam can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Loam should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Pain is working hard for the rear naked choke here.

Pain looking to break Loam's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Loam remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pain will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
Pain is breathing heavily.

Pain is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Loam knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Loam for a finish.
Loam looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Pain is trying to stick to Loam's back but Loam is turning into Pain. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Pain's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Loam.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Loam tries to free his leg and advance position but Pain is retaining full guard.

Loam keeps the fight on the outside.

Loam gets a takedown into half guard.

Loam postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Pain to stand up.
Loam's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Loam duly obliges.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pain tries to clinch but Loam moves out of range.

Loam has Pain pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Loam pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pain tumbling to the mat - Loam dives into Pain's guard.

Pain tries to clinch but Loam is having none of it.

and Loam decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pain's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jaddie Pain just wasn't active enough.

Pain moves in looking to clinch but Loam pushes him off.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Loam misses with a combination
enabling Pain to counter with a crisp jab.
Loam throws a right hand that misses

Pain uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Loam has time to react.
Pain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Loam paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Loam throws an off balance right hand
and Pain counters with a low kick, right behind Loam 's knee.

Pain darts in and clinches Loam up against the cage.
Loam gets underhooks to prevent Pain's takedown attempt.

Loam has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pain uses from the top position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pain throws a big right hand that misses.
Pain trying to control but Loam is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zolloo Loam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Loam throws a jab when Pain was well out of range.
Pain fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Loam bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

You can see the frustration on Pain's face as Loam controls the position.

Loam fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pain, pushing him back against the cage.
Pain has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Loam avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Pain drops down looking for an ankle pick but Loam pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jaddie Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Loam moves into the clinch.

Loam gets control of Pain's arms and successfully pulls guard. Loam will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Pain throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Loam works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Loam looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Pain postures up.
Loam wants to stand but Pain is controlling the position.
Pain wants to control from the top but Loam keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Loam closes the distance and clinches.
Pain has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Loam is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Loam has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pain regains guard immediately.

Pain has taken the fight to the clinch.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Loam has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Pain uses from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pain postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Zolloo Loam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Loam has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
