Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eugeniusz Grzyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Jones struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.6lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grzyb on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Grzyb moves into the clinch.
Grzyb lands a knee to the body.
Grzyb lands an uppercut.
Jones tries to break the clinch but Grzyb is controlling the position.
Grzyb tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Grzyb gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jones.
Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones misses with a hook
and Grzyb counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grzyb wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Jones is pressing down on Grzyb's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Grzyb seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Grzyb wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Grzyb pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now.
Grzyb is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jones postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Grzyb is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jones, into his guard.
Grzyb won't allow Jones to get back to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Grzyb with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Grzyb tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard.
Grzyb trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Grzyb is looking to work some ground and pound but Jones has wrist control.
Jones preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Grzyb throwing strikes from guard but Jones blocks nicely.
Jones has his foot on Grzyb's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Grzyb works his way back into a safe position though.

Jones wants to sweep but no luck.

Jones is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Grzyb might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jones is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Grzyb is aware though and is defending well.

Grzyb wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Grzyb stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Grzyb wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
Grzyb throws a strike but Jones rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones is sitting in close to Grzyb's body. Grzyb has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Jones is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Jones is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Grzyb.
