Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Art Vandelay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anko Hidetaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hidetaka's choice of entrance music: 日本語ラップ- ヒップ&. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Art Vandelay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anko Hidetaka! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vandelay throws a series of strikes that have Hidetaka backpedaling.
Hidetaka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Vandelay throws a leg kick which misses Hidetaka's front leg but catches the back leg as Hidetaka tries to avoid it. Vandelay scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Hidetaka throws a sloppy head kick and Vandelay counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Vandelay bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hidetaka's head. Vandelay closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hidetaka quickly recovers to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vandelay lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Hidetaka is rocked! Hidetaka trying to control here.
Hidetaka is still in real trouble! Can Vandelay finish him? Vandelay lands strikes from half guard. Hidetaka seems to have recovered his senses. Vandelay is pressing down on Hidetaka's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hidetaka is holding on for now. Hidetaka is staying active underneath Vandelay, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Vandelay landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hidetaka wants to control but Vandelay is keeping busy and won't allow it. Vandelay is nestled in close to Hidetaka, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Vandelay working over Hidetaka with some ground and pound. Hidetaka looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Vandelay not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hidetaka is trying to control but can't.
Vandelay lands a big elbow - Hidetaka is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Vandelay!
