The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bungholz checks the leg kick.
Gomez looks to clinch
and Bungholz counters with a one-two to the body.
Bungholz waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Gomez.
Gomez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bungholz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gomez wants to clinch but Bungholz slips to the side
and Bungholz counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Bungholz rushes Gomez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bungholz misses with the head strike.
Gomez blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Bungholz working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Gomez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gomez throws a leg kick but Bungholz sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Gomez on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gomez misses with a lunging right hand
and Bungholz counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Gomez misses with a body shot.
Bungholz avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gomez misses with a hook to the body
and Bungholz counters with a two punch combo.
Gomez is rocked!
Bungholz has closed the distance and engaged Gomez in a clinch.
Bungholz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bungholz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Gomez is still on wobbly legs! Can Bungholz finish him?
Some bone on bone action there as Bungholz checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Gomez throws a sloppy body shot
and Bungholz counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Gomez has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
