Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Miki Thron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duane Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Duane Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson clobbers Thron with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Thron throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Thron has his takedown stuffed
and Jackson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jackson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Thron with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jackson lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jackson connects with a nice short shot to Thron's temple.
