Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Romulus Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sherlok Holmes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmes has chosen Discombobulate as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmes throws a lazy uppercut
and Man counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Man moves out of range of the strikes.
Man darts in and clinches Holmes up against the cage.
Man with a knee to the head.
Holmes jumps guard.
Holmes wants to sweep but no luck.
Holmes has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Man trying to control the position from guard on top but Holmes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Holmes pulls Man in close to prevent any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Romulus Man wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Man takes a jab right on the kisser.
Man moves into the clinch.
Man pulls Holmes into guard.
Holmes tries to free his leg and advance position but Man is retaining full guard.
Holmes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Holmes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Man has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Holmes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Man has tightened it up now! Holmes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
