Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Lindh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davey Boy Hastings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Thomas Lindh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Davey Boy Hastings! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lindh rushes Hastings and presses him up against the cage. Hastings takes a shot to the head. Hastings is trying to force a seperation but Lindh has the dominant position. Hastings tries to pull guard but Lindh won't allow it.
Lindh controlling the action here for a moment.
Lindh lands with a left to the head. Lindh gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Hastings jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lindh walks away with a smile on his face. Hastings gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Lindh clinches up against the cage. Hastings tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Thomas Lindh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Davey Boy Hastings. Lindh pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Lindh forces Hastings back against the cage and clinches. Lindh breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hastings takes an elbow to the forehead. Lindh works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Lindh advances position into side control! Lindh has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hastings is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Lindh yanks on the arm and Hastings is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Lindh.
