Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Reis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reis comes to the ring accompanied by Cry For the Moon - Epica. Jamal Reis had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jamal Reis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mirko Filipovic!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Saam Ante and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Reis lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Filipovic walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Reis checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Filipovic misses with the body kick
and Reis counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Reis clobbers Filipovic with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Reis blocks the body kick.
Filipovic throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Reis counters with a nice uppercut.
Filipovic misses with an attempted mid kick.
Filipovic tries a head kick but it misses.
Reis blocks a head kick by Filipovic.
Reis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Reis avoids a kick to the body.
Filipovic gets off balance looking for a body kick
letting Reis counter with a right hand.
Reis checks a low kick from Filipovic.
Reis lands with a shot to the body.
Filipovic takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Filipovic.
Reis scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Filipovic looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Filipovic tries to score with a low kick but Reis moves his leg out of the way.

and Reis connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mirko Filipovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reis jabs at Filipovic's body.

Reis manages to break the clinch.
Reis cracks Filipovic with a good jab.
Reis goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Reis connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Filipovic's hands.
Reis thuds a left hand into Filipovic's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Filipovic has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Reis finds it's way round the side to connect with Filipovic's head.
Reis lands the left hand.

Filipovic is rocked!
Filipovic gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Reis gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Filipovic is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
