Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hak Hak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rich Omega acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hak Hak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rich Omega! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omega gets a clinch. Hak scores with a knee to the head.
It looks like Rich Omega has been cut. Omega manages to break the clinch.
Hak Hak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hak tries for a takedown but Omega circles away easily so Omega counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Hak is trying to control the position but Omega postures up. Omega throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Hak is looking to stand up but Omega isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hak bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Omega's guard. Hak prevents Omega from getting back to his feet. Hak cracks Omega with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Omega utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hak trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Hak has gone for a leg lock! Omega slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hak's guard. Hak has his feet on Omega's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Omega shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hak pinned against the cage. Hak gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hak with a poor takedown and Omega counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hak won't be happy with that. Hak is breathing heavily. Omega is trying to get an arm triangle but Hak is defending well. Hak is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Omega has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Omega wants to stand but Hak is controlling his arm. Omega looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hak is avoiding damage well.
Omega landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Hak is pushing Omega's head away, looking to escape. Omega manages to hold on to the position though. Omega sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hak is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Hak wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Omega working the body and head with strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hak is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Omega tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Omega has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Omega tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Omega postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Hak is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Omega has just dragged him back down to the mat. Omega in side control lands a decent elbow. Hak tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Omega wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hak takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Omega wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hak keeps working.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Omega scores with punches from side control. Omega cracks Hak with an elbow. That is naaassty. Omega scores with punches from side control. Hak is trying to get back to his feet. Omega stands up and we're back to a striking position. Omega clinches with his opponent.
Omega with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Omega scores with an uppercut up the middle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hak wants to stall.
A nice left hand lands by Omega.
Omega throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Haks head. Omega lands with a short head shot on the inside. Omega dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Omega cracks Hak with a nice body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Omega jabs at Hak's body. Omega closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Omega working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Omega misses with the ground and pound. Omega tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Omega wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hak, who protects the arm well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hak wants to get back to his feet but Omega drags him back down.

Hak is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Hak tries to improve position but can't. Omega scoring with punches and elbows. Hak throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Omega lands an elbow. Omega in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Hak is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Omega asserts his dominance and retains side control. Omega working the ground and pound but Hak is defending the strikes. Omega really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Omega wants to stand but Hak is controlling his arm. Hak is looking to regain half guard here but Omega keeps moving and retains side control. Omega is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hak is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Omega cracks Hak with a big right hand but Hak just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Omega tries for a kimura but Hak is defending well. Omega lands a decent elbow from side control. Omega is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hak knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Omega working the body and head with strikes. Omega working the ground and pound. Hak misses with a strike from the bottom. Rich Omega has got the better of the ground game so far. Omega is working Hak over with some ground and pound from side control. Omega tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Omega wants to stand and escape but Hak is having none of it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Omega can do anything to dispel that myth. Hak throws a big right hand that misses.

Hak postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Omega wants to get back to his feet but Hak is in a dominant position and won't allow it. That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Omega keeping moving, preventing Hak from controlling successfully. Omega wants to stand but Hak is controlling the position. Rich Omega is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Hak would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Omega avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hak throwing strikes but missing. Hak Hak has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hak is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
And that's the end of the fight! Rich Omega comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Omega has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
