Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vytautas Smirnovas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergej Voskresenskij (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smirnovas comes to the cage accompanied by Winds of Plague-"Impaler". Voskresenskij has chosen Plastid as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sergej Voskresenskij ! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Voskresenskij misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Voskresenskij looks to clinch and Smirnovas counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Smirnovas looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Voskresenskij not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Smirnovas scoring with punches to the head and body. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Smirnovas controls from within his opponent's guard. Smirnovas is in close to Voskresenskij 's body, working some short punches and elbows. Voskresenskij wants to sweep but no luck. We're going to have a standup here because Vytautas Smirnovas wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Smirnovas closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Smirnovas lands in his opponent's guard. Smirnovas postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Smirnovas engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Smirnovas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Smirnovas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Voskresenskij is keeping the position for now. Smirnovas throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Voskresenskij looking for a guillotine here but Smirnovas defends easily.

Smirnovas stands up over Voskresenskij , holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Smirnovas trying to control the position from guard on top but Voskresenskij is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Voskresenskij is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smirnovas defends well. Voskresenskij wants to stand and escape but Smirnovas is having none of it. Voskresenskij looks gassed! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Smirnovas's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Smirnovas postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Smirnovas wants to control from the top but Voskresenskij keeps moving. Smirnovas is in close to Voskresenskij 's body, working some short punches and elbows. Smirnovas is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Smirnovas passes easily into side control. Nice work. Smirnovas trying to control the action but Voskresenskij is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smirnovas lands a nice forearm strike. Smirnovas tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Voskresenskij takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smirnovas is chipping away with strikes.
Smirnovas landing a few strikes. Voskresenskij is looking for a sweep. A big shot lands for Smirnovas! That's hurt Voskresenskij ! Will he recover? Smirnovas fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
