Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nyrkki Sankari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Metusalem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sankari comes to the cage accompanied by The Odorants - This Night. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Metusalem closes the distance and pushes Sankari back into the cage.
Sankari wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Metusalem is trying to break the clinch but Sankari has him pressed against the cage.

Metusalem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sankari scores with a hook to the body. Metusalem takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Sankari lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sankari lunges at Metusalem with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Metusalem's hand.
Metusalem doesn't manage to clinch there - Sankari circles away.
A combination from Metusalem does no damage.
Sankari lands a head kick. Metusalem smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Boris Metusalem has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sankari digs a good hook to Metusalem's body.
Sankari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sankari throws a lazy right hand but Metusalem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Metusalem moves into the clinch.

Sankari breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sankari keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Metusalem bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A jab lands there for Sankari.
Sankari misses the shot to the body.
Sankari moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sankari scores with a spinning back kick!
A left lands for Sankari.
Metusalem looks gassed!
Sankari bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Metusalem's head.
Sankari is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Sankari lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Metusalem at a distance.
Sankari scores with a nice strike.
Nyrkki Sankari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Sankari lands a big head kick that sends Metusalem tumbling to the mat! Sankari takes a step backwards and waves Metusalem back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Sankari throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Sankari changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Metusalem takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Sankari drops Metusalem with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Metusalem! Sankari dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
