0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudi Neger! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winner shoots in but no luck this time. No luck for Winner with that takedown attempt. Winner fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andre Winner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Winner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Neger circles away. Winner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Neger as he jumps to the side. Neger misses with a takedown and Winner counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Winner advances to half guard. Winner lands strikes from half guard. Winner is looking for a kimura but Neger is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Winner to get the leverage. Winner is breathing heavily. Neger tries to roll over but Winner keeps him under control. Winner wants to control but Neger is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winner is looking to stall here but Neger recovers full guard. Neger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Winner is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Winner postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Winner throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. A combination from Neger does no damage. Neger with a poor takedown and Winner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Winner. Winner trying to control but Neger is working from the bottom. Winner drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Winner jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Winner postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Neger keeping full guard, as Winner tries to pass.

Neger tries to get back to half guard but can't. Winner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Neger is bucking up trying to escape but Winner cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Neger is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Winner landing shots from mount. Neger is still in real trouble! Can Winner finish him? Neger swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Winner wants to control the pace but Neger is squirming around nicely. Neger is looking to get to half guard. Winner landing strikes from the mount.
It looks like Rudi Neger has been cut.

Winner swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Neger is now in Winner's guard. A big mistake from Winner there, giving up the dominant position! This has been an exciting period of action! Winner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Neger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Winner is tightening it up a little... Neger has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Neger reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Neger taps out! nice BJJ there by Winner!
