Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, FIREDRAGON DRAGONCLAN!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tennis Tim!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tim feints and as DRAGONCLAN raises his hands in defense, Tim changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tim stands up over DRAGONCLAN, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Tim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of DRAGONCLAN's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tim stands up from DRAGONCLAN's guard - Tim perhaps looking for a knockout.
DRAGONCLAN throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tim's head.
It looks like Tennis Tim has been cut.
Tim slips a straight right by DRAGONCLAN.
DRAGONCLAN shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than DRAGONCLAN was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Tim bucks DRAGONCLAN off and manages to get back to his feet!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
DRAGONCLAN tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tim counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tim connects with a nice short shot to DRAGONCLAN's temple.
DRAGONCLAN is looking to control Tim's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can DRAGONCLAN avoid being mounted?

Tim lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Tim in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. DRAGONCLAN tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Tim!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Tennis Tim!
