Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jussi Syren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julio Montoya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jussi Syren! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Julio Montoya! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montoya shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Syren manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Montoya passes Syren's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Montoya controlling the action here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Julio Montoya wasn't active enough on the ground. Montoya takes the fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Montoya stalling.
Montoya tries for a takedown. No joy.
Montoya breaks from the clinch.
Montoya bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Montoya is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Syren is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Montoya content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Montoya looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Syren is avoiding damage well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya working the head and body with strikes. Montoya happy to just control the position for now. Montoya stands up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice sprawl there from Syren as Montoya shoots in. Montoya fails with a takedown attempt. Jussi Syren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Montoya. Montoya misses with a body kick. Montoya fails with a takedown attempt. Syren throws a series of punches but Montoya avoids them all with ease. Syren misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Syren is breathing heavily. Montoya gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julio Montoya dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Montoya shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Syren is looking to stand up but Montoya isn't so interested in that idea. Syren knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Montoya on the ground. Montoya slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Syren avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Montoya throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montoya works a leg free and moves into half guard. Montoya decides to stand and escape the position. Montoya looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Syren defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Montoya. Montoya shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Montoya was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Syren is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, Montoya has taken his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montoya keeps control of the position easily here as Syren tries to buck him off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya lands shots from the back. Montoya is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Montoya gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Montoya gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Montoya apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Montoya closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Syren to the mat! Syren manages to get full guard. Montoya slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Montoya gets to his feet. Syren looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montoya tries to close the distance and clinch up but Syren swats him away and circles back towards the center. Montoya closes the distance and clinches up with Syren, looking for a takedown. Montoya pushes Syren against the cage but Syren circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jussi Syren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Montoya. Montoya clinches up with Syren and pushes him back against the cage. Montoya jumps guard.
Montoya is pulling down on Syren's head to control his posture. Let's hope that Montoya has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Julio Montoya showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Montoya shoots in for a takedown but Syren shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Montoya changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Syren tries to avoid it but Montoya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Syren to the ground. Syren escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Julio Montoya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Syren looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Syren swinging wildly here.
Syren lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Montoya circles away quickly and effectively. Montoya showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Syren.
Montoya shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Syren but Syren pushes him off and we're back to square one. Jussi Syren has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julio Montoya. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Montoya clinches up against the cage. Montoya can't get the takedown.

and Montoya counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Montoya trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya decides to return to a standing position. Syren misses with a jab, cross combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Montoya shoots in looking for a takedown. Syren tries to sprawl out of it but Montoya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Syren manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Syren gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Montoya to score an easy takedown into full guard. Montoya advances position into side control! Jussi Syren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Montoya advances to full mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Julio Montoya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Montoya winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
