Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michael Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Magatsu Taito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton comes into the arena with Faith No More - Surprise You're Dead blaring out of the sound system. Michael Patton has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Taito fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Patton avoids it really well and circles away.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Taito looks up at the clock and then as Patton takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Taito smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Taito works to advance to full mount. Patton defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Taito has control of Patton's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Patton regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Patton makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Patton.

Magatsu Taito showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
