Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diesel Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robin Convents (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Convents throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Convents takes one on the button.
It looks like Robin Convents has been cut.
Convents thumps Maddox with a low kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Convents moves to clinch but Maddox breaks away
and Maddox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Convents explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Convents throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Maddox.
Convents darts in trying to clinch
and Convents is countered with a crisp right hand from Maddox that sends him to the canvas! Maddox follows him to the mat into side control.
Convents is rocked!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Maddox has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Maddox throws a right hand that misses
and Convents counters with a flying knee that drops Maddox! Convents dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
