Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chester Wing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rik McRae (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wing's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Not Afraid. McRae has chosen Slipknot - Before I Forget as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chester Wing! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rik McRae! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wing misses with a lunging right hand
and McRae counters with a lovely straight right hand! McRae moves out of range of the strikes. Wing sizes up McRae with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. McRae tries to land a leg kick but Wing saw it coming and moves away.
McRae connects with a looping right hand.
Wing misses with a hook to the body
and McRae counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. McRae moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. McRae uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wing. Wing throws a combination that misses and McRae counters with a stiff right hand. McRae throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McRae shoots in for a takedown but Wing shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wing misses with an uppercut

That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McRae fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Chester Wing has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rik McRae. Wing throws a sloppy head kick and McRae moves out of range easily. Wing blocks the body kick.

and McRae counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wing pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces McRae back to the cage. Wing follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Wing throws a lazy right hand but McRae sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

McRae throws a big shot that misses. Chester Wing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wing lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and McRae has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from McRae and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Good exchange - Wing coming out on top. McRae scores with a crisp jab that stopped Wing in his tracks. Chester Wing is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. so McRae counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McRae wants to pass the guard but Wing is keeping the position. Wing is trying to control the position from the bottom.

McRae looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wing tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McRae wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. McRae tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. McRae throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. McRae is wobbling all over the place through exhaustion. Will he make it to the final bell? McRae swings around for an armbar but Wing sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McRae's guard. McRae had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wing defends it easily.

Wing takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Chester Wing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Wing can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McRae is looking to escape. McRae regains half guard.

He's hooked one of Wing's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wing's back! Rik McRae is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Wing manages to reverse the position and now he's in McRae's guard. Nice work there by Wing.
