Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Chase (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dalern Hardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chase comes to the cage accompanied by Gangsta Gangsta. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase lands a slapping body shot.
Vincent Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardt feints and as Chase raises his hands in defense, Hardt changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hardt throws a big right hand that misses.
Chase wants to sweep but no luck.
Chase throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Chase looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Chase keeping moving, preventing Hardt from controlling successfully.
Hardt throws a strike but Chase rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chase throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Chase stopping the sweep attempt from Hardt.
Chase gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Hardt avoids a punch combination nicely.
Chase throws a sloppy head kick and Hardt moves out of range easily.
Hardt misses with a takedown
enabling Chase to counter with a crisp jab.
Chase rushes Hardt and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Hardt tries for a takedown but Chase manages to get underhooks.
Hardt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Chase gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Vincent Chase has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dalern Hardt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hardt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Chase tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hardt avoids it.
Come on Chase - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Hardt looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Hardt wants a takedown.
Chase has Hardt pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hardt manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Chase taking a breather.
Hardt blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Chase lands an elbow just above Hardt 's eye.
Chase lands with a right to the head.
Chase lands an uppercut.
Chase is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Chase trying to stall but Hardt improves his position.
Chase lands a right hand.
A left hand lands to the body for Chase.
Hardt managing to block the knees to the body from Chase.
Chase lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Chase utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Hardt looks gassed!
Chase is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Chase landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Hardt's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Chase lands with a short shot to the head.
Chase pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chase lands a big head kick that sends Hardt tumbling to the mat! Chase takes a step backwards and waves Hardt back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Hardt is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Chase! Hardt is out on his feet! Chase rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hardt is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hardt is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vincent Chase!
