Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Diccico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diccico has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Miguel Diccico has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Maximus Meridius's chin.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miguel Diccico! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Columbo Gatti and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meridius shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Diccico but Diccico pushes him off and we're back to square one. Diccico looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Meridius throws a series of punches but Diccico moves out of range. Meridius throws a series of punches but Diccico avoids them all with ease. Meridius fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Diccico, pushing him back against the cage. That was a close round but I would say that Maximus Meridius will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Miguel Diccico's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Diccico. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Meridius has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Miguel Diccico showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Miguel Diccico's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Meridius is staying active underneath Diccico, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Meridius is looking for a sweep. Diccico is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Diccico is looking to take a break and control but Meridius is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
