Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Saliva - Ladies and Gentlemen. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Oscar Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Carson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws out a loose jab but Carson uses good head movement to avoid it. Carson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jones. Jones blocks a head kick by Carson.
Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Carson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jones is looking to stand up but Carson isn't so interested in that idea. Carson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carson chips away with some ground and pound. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Carson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Carson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jones looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jones looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jones! Jones tries to score with some ground and pound. Carson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Jones sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Carson is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Jones wants to control for a moment but Carson uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Jones not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Jones throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jones working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Carson tries to kick Jones off but Jones keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Jones sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Carson defending well though. Carson is looking to escape. Carson prevents Jones from improving position. Jones cracks Carson with a big right hand but Carson just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Carson throws a low kick but Jones moves out of range easily. Carson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Carson tries for a takedown but Jones circles away easily and Jones connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Carson misses with an uppercut. Carson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Carson misses with a left hand and Jones counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Jones throws a lazy right hand but Carson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Carson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Jones quickly recovers to half guard. Carson is just content to waste time from the top position. Jones takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Carson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Carson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Carson with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones controlling Carson's posture. Carson trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carson tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. Jones has control of Carson's left arm, preventing Carson from doing any damage. Carson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jones is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Carson, into his guard. Carson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones tries to pass to full mount but Carson defends it. Carson is trying to stand.

Carson is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Carson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Oscar Jones showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jones, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
