Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Frankfurt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fat Hoos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie Frankfurt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fat Hoos!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Kavanagh and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frankfurt throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hoos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Frankfurt is in Hoos's guard.
Hoos is trying to hold Frankfurt in close to prevent damage but Frankfurt has managed to pass into half guard.
Hoos tries to get to full guard but Frankfurt has control of the leg.
Hoos won't allow Frankfurt to pass to mount.
Hoos wants to control but Frankfurt is keeping busy.
Frankfurt is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Frankfurt is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frankfurt is trying to control the action in half guard but Hoos is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Frankfurt is really struggling to control Hoos but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eddie Frankfurt.

Frankfurt closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Frankfurt works to advance to full mount. Hoos defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Frankfurt tries for a takedown but Hoos circles away easily
and Frankfurt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Frankfurt shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Hoos won't allow Frankfurt to pass to mount.

Frankfurt goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Hoos turns into him and now he's in Frankfurt's guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Frankfurt takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Frankfurt manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hoos manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Frankfurt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hoos sees it coming and defends easily.

Frankfurt seems to be looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eddie Frankfurt dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Frankfurt tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hoos swivels and escapes.
Frankfurt leaves Hoos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Eddie Frankfurt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Hoos wants to control from the top but Frankfurt keeps moving.

Hoos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Frankfurt holds on and takes a little breather.

Frankfurt looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Frankfurt has his feet on Hoos's thighs here. He's pushed Hoos off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hoos screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
