The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fedorova feints and as Skeet raises his hands in defense, Fedorova changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fedorova trying to control the position from guard on top but Skeet is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Skeet not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fedorova pushes down on Skeet's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Fedorova wants to take a breather but Skeet is having none of it.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fedorova connects with a nice short shot to Skeet's temple.
Fedorova thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Fedorova is looking to take a break and control but Skeet is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Fedorova has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The ground and pound from Fedorova seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Fedorova connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Skeet some visible discomfort.

Fedorova is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Skeet looks calm but he's in trouble here. Fedorova gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Skeet is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Fedorova lets go of the hold and Skeet can pop his arm back in it's socket.
