The judges for this bout are William Peck, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beruna scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Nice sprawl there from Beruna as Copeland shoots in.
Beruna shoots in and bounces Copeland off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Beruna passes Copeland's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Beruna is looking to take a break and control but Copeland is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Copeland should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Copeland looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

and Beruna counters with a head kick. That will keep Copeland thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Beruna holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Copeland has had enough of the clinch but Beruna keeps him there for the moment.

Beruna uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Copeland has time to react.

and Copeland counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Beruna's guard now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Copeland drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Beruna manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Copeland has Beruna in his guard.

Beruna tries to lock up and control but Copeland gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Copeland cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Copeland lands with some strikes.
Copeland is in the full mount, landing strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Beruna is looking to improve his position but Copeland isn't that keen on the idea.
Copeland breaks from Beruna's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Beruna is rocked!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jason Copeland will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Beruna gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Copeland counters with a double leg that slams his opponent to the canvas! Beruna is in trouble here! Copeland pounds away until the ref steps in to end the bout!
