Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Leif Bonifay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Villar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Villar has chosen Deuces as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

2 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Villar! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Villar does no damage. Bonifay slips a jab and a cross from Villar.
Villar looks to land a right hand but Bonifay moved out of range. Bonifay wants to clinch but Villar slips to the side letting Villar counter with a right hand. Villar misses with a lunging right hand
and Bonifay counters by moving into the clinch. Bonifay working Villar over with knees to the body. Bonifay prevents Villar from breaking the clinch. Villar drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bonifay gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Villar is trying to push Bonifay away but Bonifay has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Villar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
