Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Hanson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Knarles Grunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hanson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Eminem - No Love. Grunt comes into a darkened arena with his song building. BLUNT- The Iron Maiden kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Steve Hanson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Knarles Grunt's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Knarles Grunt!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grunt moves out of range as Hanson strikes.
Hanson throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hanson throws the left hand but Grunt avoids the punch easily.
Hanson throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
letting Grunt counter with a right hand.
Grunt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hanson misses with a jab to the body
and Grunt counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Grunt.
Hanson wants to sweep but no luck.
Grunt throws a strike but Hanson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Grunt has his foot on Hanson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hanson works his way back into a safe position though.
Grunt is trying to keep Hanson in close.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Knarles Grunt hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Hanson throws out a loose jab but Grunt uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hanson lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
