The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ornias tries to bum rush O Neil with a series of wild strikes but O Neil uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
O Neil drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
O Neil throws a lazy body kick
and Ornias counters with a lovely straight right hand!
O Neil clinches.
Ornias goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ornias tries a body shot but O Neil blocks it.
Ornias manages to break the clinch.
A jab lands there for Ornias.
Ornias tries to clinch but O Neil moves away
and O Neil counters with a nice body kick.
Ornias moves forwards but O Neil connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ornias takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
O Neil misses with a left hand
and Ornias counters with a lovely shot to the body.
O Neil throws a right hand that misses
and Ornias counters with a lovely straight right hand!
O Neil shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A slapping leg kick lands for O Neil.

Ornias misses with a body shot
and O Neil counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ornias's knee momentarily.
Ornias looks gassed!
O Neil throws a nice outside leg kick.
O Neil throws a body punch but Ornias moves out of range.
O Neil jabbing away but nothing is landing.
O Neil is looking to slow Ornias down with leg kicks.
O Neil explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

and Ornias counters with a right hand to the body.
Ornias moves to clinch but O Neil breaks away
and O Neil counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

O Neil lands with a right hand.
Ornias swings widly with a right hand
and O Neil counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ornias's knee momentarily.
O Neil misses with a straight right.
O Neil looks to land a left hand but Ornias moved out of range nicely.
Ornias moves forwards but O Neil connects with a nice, crisp jab.
O Neil throws a predictable looking body shot
and Ornias counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Ornias misses with a short punch on the inside.
Ornias working aggressively here.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from O Neil.
O Neil pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
O Neil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ornias was well out of range. Poor timing from O Neil.
Ariel Ornias seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Ornias.

O Neil feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ornias's calf.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ornias takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
O Neil slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
O Neil throws a looping overhand right but Ornias ducks down to avoid it.
Ornias walks into a straight right hand from O Neil.
Ornias thows a leg kick but O Neil checks it
and O Neil counters with a straight that turns Ornias's legs to rubber! O Neil pushes forward with more strikes and Ornias goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
