Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Obi Wan!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wan stuffs the takedown attempt from Forest. Forest gets slowly back to his feet.

Forest lands a big head kick that sends Wan tumbling to the mat! Forest takes a step backwards and waves Wan back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Obi Wan has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Forest scores with a takedown into Wan's guard.

Forest really is a fat lump.
Wan is looking to stand up but Forest isn't so interested in that idea.
Forest stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We're going to have a standup here because Jason Forest wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Wan counters with a straight right hand.

Forest shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Forest looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Forest fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Wan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Forest pinned against the cage. Forest gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Forest has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Wan is not content to let Forest control the position.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jason Forest wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Forest feints and as Wan raises his hands in defense, Forest changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Forest is pushing down on Wan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wan is fighting to maintain full guard but Forest has managed to sneak the leg through.
Forest wants to take a breather but Wan is having none of it.

Forest stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Forest pushes Wan up against the cage in a clinch.
Come on Forest - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Forest manages to break the clinch.
Forest throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wan's waist but Wan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Forest off to one side.
Forest closes the distance and clinches up with Wan, looking for a takedown. Forest pushes Wan against the cage but Wan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Forest shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wan sprawls well. Wan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Forest gets slowly back to his feet.
Jason Forest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Wan fails to pull guard.

Forest escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Forest shoots in looking for a takedown but Wan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Forest's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Wan throws and elbow that misses. Forest uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Wan's guard. Nice move by Forest!
