Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jan Dittrich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Moran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dittrich might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Paint It Black". Alex Moran acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jan Dittrich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Moran! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dittrich forces Moran back against the cage and clinches. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Moran takes an elbow to the temple. Moran tries a knee to the head but Dittrich blocks it.
Moran tries to circle away but Dittrich has him pinned against the cage. Moran can't break the clinch.
Dittrich lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Dittrich misses with a short punch on the inside. Moran tries a knee to the head but Dittrich blocks it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Dittrich. Dittrich tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Moran blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Dittrich lands a body punch in the clinch. Dittrich gets through Moran's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Dittrich working some nice short punches in the clinch. Moran wants to get back to striking at distance but Dittrich won't allow it.
Moran is trying to force a seperation but Dittrich has the dominant position. Dittrich has a couple of punches blocked by Moran.
Dittrich gets through Moran's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Dittrich lands a body shot in the clinch.

Dittrich working some nice short punches in the clinch. Dittrich lands a left hand that snaps the head of Moran backwards. Moran tries a knee to the head but Dittrich blocks it.
Moran is trying to force a seperation but Dittrich has the dominant position. Dittrich scores with a shoulder strike. Dittrich lands with a short head shot on the inside. Dittrich lands a left hand.
Moran is rocked! Moran looks gassed! A quick uppercut on the inside from Dittrich. Moran is still on wobbly legs! Can Dittrich finish him? Dittrich drags the fight down to the ground.
Dittrich throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Moran seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dittrich trying to control the position.
Dittrich is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dittrich looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Dittrich working over Moran with some ground and pound. Moran looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dittrich throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Dittrich scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Dittrich lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Moran avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dittrich. Dittrich moves into full mount! Moran won't be happy about that! Dittrich sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dittrich is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moran to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moran shrugs it off. Dittrich controlling the position easily from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dittrich has control of Moran's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Moran regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dittrich throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Moran really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dittrich. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dittrich landing strikes from the mount and Moran is in trouble! Dittrich working away from the top, dropping strikes. Moran wants to try and get back to his feet. Dittrich with shots to the head and body - Moran looks very uncomfortable down there. Dittrich lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
It looks like Alex Moran has been cut. Dittrich has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moran defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Dittrich. Dittrich lands a big elbow. Oooooh, big shot lands for Dittrich! Moran is hurt baaadly! Dittrich is firing away with more strikes - Moran is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jan Dittrich!
