Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mack McNamara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mustafa Guerro!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNamara doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Guerro to counter with a crisp jab.
McNamara closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Guerro tries to buck McNamara off but McNamara is having none of it.
McNamara tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
McNamara thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
McNamara swings around for an armbar but Guerro sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into McNamara's guard.
Guerro slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
McNamara is trying to get back to half guard.

McNamara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Guerro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Guerro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Guerro is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McNamara wants to sweep here but Guerro controlling him for the moment.

Guerro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Guerro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McNamara lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Guerro!
Guerro is looking to get to half guard.
McNamara is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Guerro has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Guerro!

Guerro reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Guerro taps out! nice BJJ there by McNamara!
