Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hulio Hinlares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorden Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis has chosen M.E.T.H.O.D. Man as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hulio Hinlares! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jorden Ellis! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Ellis. Hinlares pushes Ellis up against the cage in a clinch. Ellis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Ellis jumps into guard, dragging Hinlares to the mat.
Hinlares passes Ellis's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ellis tries to roll over but Hinlares keeps him under control. Ellis pushes Hinlares off and gets back to his feet. Nice sprawl there from Ellis as Hinlares shoots in. Jorden Ellis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hinlares shoots in and drives through. Ellis sprawls well. Ellis misses with a takedown and Hinlares counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hinlares with a flurry of punches that miss. Ellis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ellis wants to control the pace but Hinlares is squirming around nicely. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hinlares is looking to improve his position but Ellis isn't that keen on the idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hinlares is breathing heavily. Hinlares is working hard here to advance position. Ellis breaks from Hinlares's wrist control and lands an elbow. Ellis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Hinlares is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Hinlares wants to hold on but Ellis pushes him away. Ellis looking to control but Hinlares is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Hinlares is desperately trying to improve his position but Ellis has a good base and remains in mount. Ellis has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hinlares's face.
Ellis tries to control but Hinlares wriggling away. Hinlares is looking to improve his position but Ellis isn't that keen on the idea. Ellis scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Hinlares might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ellis looking to control but Hinlares is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Ellis working away from the top, dropping strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ellis trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hinlares is wriggling around trying to escape.

Ellis prevents Hinlares from getting the reversal. Hinlares sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Hinlares moves into full guard.
Hinlares keeping full guard, as Ellis tries to pass. Hinlares manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ellis manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hinlares trying to control the position from guard on top but Ellis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hinlares drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hinlares jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hinlares passes Ellis's left leg - he's now in half guard. Hinlares seems to be working for a kimura but Ellis defends the submission attempt. Ellis trying to control here.
Ellis wants to improve his position but Hinlares is controlling well.
Ellis moves into full guard.
Ellis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ellis pulls Hinlares in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ellis escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hinlares gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ellis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Ellis cracks Hinlares with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Ellis prevents Hinlares from getting the reversal. Ellis trying to control but Hinlares is having none of it. Hinlares is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hinlares tries to lock up and control but Ellis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hinlares working to try and regain half guard.
Hinlares sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hulio Hinlares will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ellis with a poor takedown and Hinlares counters with a single leg into guard. Ellis didn't expect that. Hinlares preventing the sweep. Hinlares thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Hinlares sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ellis's guard. Hinlares is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ellis has managed to free his arm - good work. Hinlares is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Ellis wants to get back to his feet.
Hinlares is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ellis defends it well. Hinlares is working for a submission of some sort.

The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Ellis manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hinlares passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Ellis! Hinlares jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Ellis manages to avoid the submission attempt. Ellis sneaks out the side door and pushes Hinlares away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Ellis misses with a takedown and Hinlares counters with a single leg into guard. Ellis didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hinlares drops back looking for a leg! Ellis is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ellis manages to kick Hinlares off! Hinlares jumps back into Ellis's guard. Hinlares wanted to stand there but Ellis had control of the position. Ellis can't keep his opponent in guard - Hinlares advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hinlares in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Ellis tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Hinlares!
