Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Dingo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Dingo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Carl Orff - O Fortuna . Tyler is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Yep. Jake Tyler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler misses with a few strikes there.
Dingo tries to land a leg kick but Tyler saw it coming and moves away.
Tyler drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tyler won't allow Dingo to sweep him here.

Dingo looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dingo drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tyler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tyler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tyler!
Tyler is looking to take a break and control but Dingo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tyler tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tyler has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Tyler throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Dingo is looking to reverse the position.
Tyler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dingo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Dingo is not content to let Tyler control the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tyler shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Tyler was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Tyler can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dingo is looking to escape.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Tyler cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Tyler is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Dingo is surviving well by controlling Tyler's body position as best he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tyler goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dingo turns into him and now he's in Tyler's guard.
Dingo is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tyler is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tyler has escaped and now he's on top!
Tyler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Dingo controls Tyler momentarily but Tyler frees himself.
Dingo wants to sweep here but Tyler controlling him for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tyler closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Dingo is defending against the submission attempts here by Tyler.
Dingo is looking for a sweep. Tyler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tyler not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Dingo tries to kick Tyler off but Tyler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Tyler scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Dingo tries to roll over but Tyler keeps him under control.
Tyler is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Tyler wants to control but Dingo is keeping him busy.
Dingo gets back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Tyler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Tyler shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dingo defends it nicely.

Matt Dingo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dingo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tyler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dingo somewhat.
Dingo slips a jab and a cross from Tyler.
Tyler throws a right and a left that Dingo avoids nicely.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dingo just misses with a punch to the body.

A decent looking cross lands there for Dingo.

and Tyler counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dingo won't be happy with that.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Jake Tyler wasn't active enough on the ground.

and Dingo counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Matt Dingo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

and Tyler counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Dingo!
