Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frankie Ray!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ray fails with the takedown.
Ray misses with a wild body shot.
Ray rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dillinger counters with a stiff right hand.
Dillinger tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ray throws out a leg kick but Dillinger moves out of range and Ray only half commits.
Ray throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dillinger tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ray counters with a low kick, right behind Dillinger 's knee.
Dillinger wants to clinch but Ray slips to the side
and Ray counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Ray counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


It looks like John Dillinger has been cut.

Dillinger has Ray up against the cage in a clinch.
Ray lands with a short shot to the head.

Ray finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dillinger tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ray counters with a left to the body.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ray.
John Dillinger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ray fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Dillinger has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Ray just misses with a punch to the body.

and Ray counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dillinger thinking.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ray in particular looking to stall.

and Ray counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

and Ray counters with a series of strikes. Dillinger will be more careful next time no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Ray shoots in looking for a takedown but Dillinger manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ray's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ray has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dillinger wants to clinch but Ray slips to the side

and Ray counters with a single leg into guard. Dillinger didn't expect that.

Dillinger tries to lock up and control but Ray gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ray is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Dillinger is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Dillinger wants to control but Ray is having none of it.

Ray has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dillinger's face.
Ray pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.


John Dillinger's cut is getting worse.
Dillinger wants to hold on but Ray pushes him away.
Frankie Ray is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Dillinger is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Ray thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Frankie Ray comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ray has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
