The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jennsensen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Jennsensen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lazzar throws out the jab.
Lazzar jabs Jennsensen right on the nose. Jennsensen blinks but takes it well.
Lazzar lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jennsensen at a distance.
Lazzar pushes Jennsensen up against the cage in a clinch.
Lazzar breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jennsensen shoots and misses
letting Lazzar counter with a right hand.
Lazzar throws a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jennsensen takes one to the side of the head.
Lazzar misses with an uppercut.
Lazzar throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Jennsensen.
Keenan Lazzar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lazzar throws a looping overhand right but Jennsensen ducks down to avoid it.
Lazzar pounces like a tiger and cracks Jennsensen with a vicious hook! Jennsensen is down but not out! Lazzar follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Keenan Lazzar!
