Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones moves away from the strike by Hawkins.
Hawkins will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hawkins leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Jones.
Jones staying calm.
Jones wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hawkins keeps working.
Hawkins wants to get back to his feet but Jones drags him back down.
