Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andersam Salavate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Salavate has chosen CY- CO - LIK- NO as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Andersam Salavate enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andersam Salavate!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture thows a leg kick but Salavate checks it
and Salavate counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Couture throws a leg kick
letting Salavate counter with a right hand.
Couture throws a leg kick
and Salavate counters with a nice uppercut.
Couture throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Salavate was covering up waiting for the punch and Couture finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Couture works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Couture connects with a nice short shot to Salavate's temple.
Couture content to control rather than advance.
Couture seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Salavate for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Salavate taking some punishment here, with Couture in his half guard.
Well, if Couture is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Salavate wants to get back to full guard but Couture has mounted him!
Couture lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Salavate tries to lock up and control but Couture gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Couture with shots to the head and body - Salavate looks very uncomfortable down there.

Couture postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Salavate bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Couture and the fight is over!
