Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Clark will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, John Clark!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bob throws a right hand that misses
and Clark counters with a straight right hand.
Clark tries to clinch but Bob moves out of range.
Bob misses the body punch
and Clark makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Clark ducks under a wild hook from Bob.
Bob misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Clark.
Bob throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Clark counters by moving into the clinch.
Bob drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Clark gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Clark blocks an uppercut.
Clark looking to slow down the pace here.
A head punch on the inside from Bob fails to land.

Clark has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Bob is trying to keep an underhook but Clark manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Clark throwing shots but Bob is blocking nicely.
Bob gets back to full guard.
Clark throws a big right hand that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clark wants to control from the top but Bob keeps moving.
Bob might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Clark in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Clark postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bob is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Clark, into his guard.
Clark wants to stand but Bob is controlling the position.
Bob postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Bob scoring with punches to the head and body.

Clark looking for a guillotine here but Bob defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bob makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Bob distracts Clark with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bob throws a strike but Clark rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Clark won't allow Bob to sweep him here.
Clark trying to control but Bob is working from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Clark wants to pass the guard but Bob is keeping the position.
Clark missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Clark looking to sit in guard and control but Bob gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bob wants to pass the guard but Clark is keeping the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Clark can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bob scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Bob with a flurry of punches that miss.
Clark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bob. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bob working some strikes from top position.
Bob wants to control from the top but Clark keeps moving.
Clark looks gassed!
Clark preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bob postures up in Clark's guard and throws a big left but Clark blocks it.
Bob throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Clark works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bob missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Bob is in close to Clark's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Bob is working Clark over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bob makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Bob cracks Clark with a solid left hand.
Bob missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Billy Bob will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Clark counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bob's guard now.
Bob manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Bob lands a nice shot to the head.
Bob lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Clark hang on?
Clark in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Bob in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Clark tries to lock up and control but Bob gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Clark is breathing heavily.

Clark is squirming around, avoiding Bob's attempts to control the action.
Bob with the ground and pound from mount.
Bob pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Bob looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.


Clark is rocked!
Bob raining down shots from the mount!
Clark is still in real trouble! Can Bob finish him?
Bob lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Clark hang on?
Bob lands a big shot to the head and Clark winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Billy Bob!
