Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Powers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Renton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Powers's entrance music is Black Betty. A fine choice. Renton is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: A Small Victory. The key to victory for Kenny Powers has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renton scores with a takedown into Powers's guard.
Renton gets to his feet. Powers looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Renton fails in his attempt to clinch.
Renton tries to clinch up.
No joy there for Powers, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Renton instigates a clinch.
Renton's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Renton trying to land knees to the body.
Renton looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Renton keeps control of Powers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Powers is trying to maintain a safe position but Renton gets an underhook and turns Powers into the cage.
Renton using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Renton lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Powers backwards.
Renton lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Kenny Powers has been cut.
Powers stalling in the clinch but Renton improves position.
Renton breaks the clinch.
Renton tries to clinch there but Powers circles away.
Renton closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Powers is looking for a sweep.
Renton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Powers keeps working.
Renton is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Powers parries the strikes from Renton easily there. Renton is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Powers to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Renton lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

An elbow from Renton crashes against the mat.
Renton throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Renton is putting a hurting on Powers here, landing some big shots from side control.
Powers is not content to let Renton control the position.
Powers dodges the ground and pound from Renton.
Renton connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Powers some visible discomfort.
Powers is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Renton has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Renton postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Renton wants to clinch up but Powers keeps it at a distance.
Renton on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Renton is rocked!
Renton looks gassed!
Renton shoots in for a takedown but Powers shows good takedown defense.
Renton is still on wobbly legs! Can Powers finish him?
BOOM! Powers lands a beautiful left hook that drops Renton. Renton tries to recover but Powers is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Renton lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kenny Powers!
